The Parent-Child Relationship Quotient (PCRQ) is a hypothetical or conceptual measure used to assess the quality, strength, and dynamics of the relationship between a parent and child. Finalized 12 Dimensions of PCRQ

  • Active listening and mutual understanding.

3. Trust and Psychological Safety

  • Feeling safe to be vulnerable and honest.
  • Consistency and dependability of parental responses.

4. Support and Encouragement

  • Emotional and practical support in everyday life.
  • Reinforcement of strengths and personal growth.

5. Conflict Resolution

  • How disagreements are handled.
  • Use of constructive, respectful problem-solving.

6. Time Spent Together

  • Amount and quality of shared time.
  • Engagement in meaningful, child-focused activities.

7. Parental Involvement

  • Awareness and active participation in the child’s daily life.
  • Interest in school, friends, and hobbies.

8. Discipline Style

  • Approach to behavior correction.
  • Balance between structure, rules, and emotional warmth.

9. Attachment Security

  • Especially relevant in early childhood.
  • Indicators of a secure base, such as comfort-seeking and confidence.

10. Mutual Respect

  • Recognition of each other’s individuality and boundaries.
  • Two-way respect and value for opinions and autonomy.

11. Emotional Regulation and Modeling

  • Parent’s ability to manage and express emotions appropriately.

 A Father’s Verses: Nehru’s Letters in Poetry

#BooksByBhushanKulkarni

In 1928, a father wrote a series of letters to his ten-year-old daughter, unfolding the grand story of our world—from the birth of stars to the rise of civilizations.

These letters, tender and wise, became Letters from a Father to His Daughter, a book that has inspired generations to see history not as dry facts, but as a living, breathing adventure.

This book,
A Father’s Verses, reimagines Jawaharlal Nehru’s timeless lessons as poetry.
Why poetry?
Because just as Nehru believed that a child’s curiosity is the key to understanding the universe, poetry is the key to unlocking wonder.
It turns the slow cooling of the Earth into a lullaby, the first flicker of fire into a rhyme, and the epics of India into a ballad sung by time itself.

Here, you’ll find Nehru’s original ideas preserved like fossils in amber, but set free in stanzas that dance. Each poem is paired with a snippet of his words, so you can hear both the father’s voice and the poet’s echo.
The illustrations?
They’re windows into a child’s imagination—where dinosaurs wear monsoons as necklaces, and the moon whispers secrets to the Himalayas.
This book is for:
  • Children who ask “How?” and “Why?” (and adults who still do).
  • Dreamers who see history as a story, not a syllabus.
  • Fathers, mothers, and teachers who know that the smallest questions (“What is civilization?”) have the biggest answers.
Nehru wrote to Indira:
“The real way to understand history is to look upon it as an adventure.”
So turn the page, and let the adventure begin—one verse at a time.

REBT - 12 Common Irrational Beliefs

The belief that it is easier to avoid than to face certain life difficulties and self-responsibilities.

The belief that one should be dependent on others and needs someone stronger than oneself on whom to rely.

The belief that one’s past history is an all-important determiner of one’s present behavior and that because something once strongly affected one’s life, it should indefinitely have a similar effect.

The belief that it is a dire necessity for an adult human being to be loved or approved by virtually every significant other person in his community

The belief that one should be thoroughly competent, adequate, and achieving in  all  possible respects if one is to consider oneself worthwhile.

The belief that certain people are bad, wicked, or villainous and that they should be  severely blamed and punished for their villainy.

The belief that one should become quite upset over other people’s problems and disturbances.

The belief that there is invariably a right, precise, and perfect solution to human problems and that It is catastrophic if this perfect solution is not found.

The belief that you can give people (including yourself) a global rating as a human and that their general worth depends upon the goodness of their performances

The belief that it is awful and catastrophic when things are not the way one would very much like them to be.

The belief that human unhappiness is externally caused and that people have little or no ability to control their sorrows and disturbances.

The belief that if something is or may be dangerous or fearsome one should be terribly concerned about it and should keep dwelling on the possibility of its occurring.

Meditation for Beginners

What is Meditation ?

What are the techniques of Mediation ?

What Meditation is not ?

Meditation is very simple, we complicate it. We weave a web of ideas around it, what it is ?, what it is not ?, Because it is so simple, it escapes us.

Meditation comes naturally with extraordinary ease, when we walk, or look out of our window.

This courses answers the above questions and much more. Efforts are made to simplify the concept. It also includes the following topics -

Prayer - the greatest power available to the individual.

Autosuggestion - has helped many in achieving their goals.

Relaxation technique - this will help you if you are tired, stressed, anxious or tense.

Concentration - his is the only tool for high achievements.

Vipassana or Mindfulness - to see the things as the are.

You may have a question, why the above are also mentioned in same course?

The reason the above are mentioned because Meditation is often confused with concentration or relaxation or autosuggestion. So first we are understanding what are all these and when we are clear that these are not Mediation, we will look into what is Mediation.

A step by step video will guide you first through Prayers, Autosuggestion, Relaxation technique concentration and finally Meditation.

This course if for all those who want to know or learn meditation. Some stories are also been used to understand the subject. Other topics are included which will help you for success in life, improve relationship, build confidence etc .

In a way this course is a collection of work done by many great people.

All the Best.
